Well, most of them are rated 2 or 3.
That's because most people don't like puns. Ratings shouldn't determine quality; since it's an opinion, there's no real way to determine quality.
Well, the average rating is low, although some puns are rated highly, so people just dont like most of Punster's puns.
We're talking about THIS PUN, not all the puns in general. Sure, some of 'em are bad, but that's not the point! This pun is good.

Actually, you're right. While this is indeed the issue, ratings don't determine the goodness of this pun. There were three puns, each very original, and I liked them.

As a matter of fact, I do not. I'm perfectly happy. Let's get back to the issue here, whether or not this pun, right here, was good or not.
The puns weren't very origninal, and all he did was replace syllables in some words with the word "hair".
Well, yes, but that's what, essentially, a pun is! If you don't like puns, then don't rate this one badly, look to others (like myself) for advice! If you don't like puns, your opinion will be naturally biased.
A pun is more than just replacing syllables with words. Good puns have words with multiple meanings, so the sentence makes sense with either meaning. This pun didn't.
I suppose you're right. This pun didn't make me laugh as much as some of the others did.
